The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team & Teamwork

Check our a summary of this blog here.

Have you read the best-selling book The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni? It’s an easy read, I got through it in about a day (a couple of flights and a layover). This book is engaging and makes a simple model come to life through a leadership fable where Lencioni shows us how Katheryn, a new CEO works to enable her top team to work effectively.

Our product, The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team embraces Lencioni’s model and makes it tangible by with an assessment that your team will complete online. This assessment combines the power of Lencioni’s model with Everything DiSC. Participants will learn how, as a team, they score on the key components of the model: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results and at the same time they will get a personalized DiSC report that will teach how their DiSC profile influences each component of the five behaviors. Here is a sample profile.

Take a look at a snapshot of our model, The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, and Patrick’s model, The Five Dysfunctions model. We worked closely with Patrick to develop this model, so you will see that they mirror each other. If you’re already familiar with Lencioni’s work, you’re going to love this program and assessment!

5B vs Dysfunctions

A picture often says a 1000 words; A video often explains things much better than I can write them. You can check out a quick video to understand how the program works in combination with the online assessment here.
